Leadership &
Communication
for
Legal Professionals

Whether you're a the first-year who needs support strategies, or a seasoned attorney who wants continue to grow and develop their firm, Koppett offers coaching and workshops to help you exercise your human performance muscles to meet your goals.

How It Works

Especially as digital tools and AI are being integrated into our world, human influence, connection, and collaboration become critical differentiators. Advocacy and leadership are learned through practice, feedback, and refinement....

Our programs integrate improvisation, storytelling skills, and motivational theory with feedback and coaching to develop presence, active listening, rapid adaptation, and real-time collaboration, applying them directly to the contexts and mindsets of attorneys.

Led by an Industry Pioneer the work is guided by Kat Koppett, author of Training to Imagine, a foundational text in applied improvisation, currently in its 3rd edition and in use as a textbook in many university undergraduate and MBA programs. She holds a B.F.A. in Drama from NYU and an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.

Influence and Connection

Communicating an inspiring message with influence means being skilled in adapting the how (physical and vocal presence) and the what (the content) of a message. Our programs offer tools and exercises to create clear messages and compelling narratives delivered with presence to inspire and activate any audience.

Team Alignment

High performance in organizations isn't an individual sport. In order to attract, retain and develop the best talent requires creating cultures of collaboration, motivation and trust. Our programs help your team learn to accept and build with each others ideas, share responsibility and control, and support each other in courageous risk taking and creative problem solving.

Adaptability & Responsiveness

As Dwight D. Eisenhower said, "Plans are useless, but planning is indispensable." To be our most effective, we must hold our plans loosely, and ask how to serve the moment we are in. We exercise being more adaptive and responsive while balancing preparation and noticing when changes need to be made in the moment to meet our goals.

Leadership

As a firm leader, the buck stops with you. Adaptable leaders not only model the behaviors of an aligned team, but are responsible for cultivating a positive culture through feedback, coaching, deep listening, establishing credibility and trust, sharing a clear vision, and managing status dynamics. We work to make leaders conscious of their strengths and spaces for growth so they have the widest range of performance options to support team culture.
