Not comedy performance — applied improv builds real-world professional skills like deep listening, "yes, and" collaboration, resilience, and presence.
- Founder: Kat Koppett, a recognized pioneer in applied improvisation, author of the seminal book "Training to Imagine" (now in its 3rd edition), founding member and former vice-president of the Applied Improvisation Network, and recipient of NASAGA's Ifill-Raynolds Lifetime Achievement Award.
- Reach: Headquartered in the Albany, NY area and operating globally, with outposts in Asia (led by VP Gabe Mercado), Europe, and Canada (led by VP Kirsten Anderson), plus the US.
